And how it all got started okay first of all the introduction thank you<br> that's where we go from a jewel TV stream into independent television stations throughout America i e a k t TV in LA or wfol in Orlando<br> and another thing if I may add then I'll get to the store if you don't mind investment we secured the licensing so we have our own box so I Roku TV box so where were the History Channel so we're we're channel that people can actually go to on those platforms and I just wanted to be at work I was with the station in La and saying hey we want to be a network is the world going to end<br> prayer so I was actually praying and I felt it within my spirit God said do you want to go back into television cuz I was in it before I said yeah but you know who's going to hire me course this is an audible this is just within my spirit communicate in a few will you got to become a cannibal to me and so<br> I said yes and I went through hell for about two and a half years<br> so I took the Blue Ribbon away from the prodigal son and now I have it so I went through some real changes and God said if you don't want to be accountable to me the deal's off and so but it's also for profit Network and I've learned in this process<br> God loves to get a part of our Lives even beyond the prayer and the reading of the word and salvation he's very creative I mean when you look at it when you think about how beautiful color blue or yellow maybe think about the fact that he actually thought of them simply amazing in this process is important for us<br> when we say we're a family-friendly television network we're not a Mister Rogers Neighborhood we can have drama we can have some things that aren't for young people but the main thing is the cuss words like hit me all of the heroine of cuss word where you get too deep and so he couldn't watch Disney anymore cuz the commercials were adult sensitive and his 8-year old is running with that mess and so we need to be at work that people can come in and watch what we're doing and so<br> in that process<br> it's awesome when you see God closing doors<br> open doors because he because if we want to represent him he's willing to to be all at ourselves and trusting with that and how much can he trust us<br> I guess fun adventure in a different light beyond the spiritual calling so but we are a secular television network we are putting together right now open three or four shows by July or August will putting together a Christian station called the praise and freedom network will just deal with the TV<br> we're growing we're getting traction so we're happy about that<br> yeah I was very impressed with the growth I mean just from 2015 it's a really really large yes it really got my attention and and I tell you I must say I'm looking over your resume or your bio actually you're an entrepreneur and what you've accomplished over the years I mean going back to 1996 I mean when you are by Orange County really rely on only on the internet and the social media and so I wrote a piece I'm a writer so I wrote a piece on you know being on Instagram or Facebook or LinkedIn is like starting a hundred yard dash with 60 million other people and are you going to do that if so television gives people the opportunity to do that and get it for free on Instagram I would I pay for advertising and so you've got to really make sure you find men and women who understand<br> what television does if you still look at you know buying a TV stations they're not cheap so but it's a it's a different world today than what you know it was in the past and then partnered with Michael King Better Homes and Garden Cookbook is number 2 in the world and sales behind the Bible and that's how we work with him and in trading that and he was bringing Oprah on at the time and<br> Delta we learned a lot when he was public at that time I'm not positive but I think he went public at that time so we know we got our own people in People magazine we were on Entertainment Tonight USA today so I'm old school so I still believe in PR still believe about the fact that everything is free on the post on social media that Union's trestles and all the things that had to go on before you can even make it happen<br> yeah it was a lot of red tape but that's what they do I'm like okay advertises couldn't pay their bill but so will licenses things we got Dick Van Dyke and Petticoat Junction on a couple movies right now but we're really hoping to have about 12 original programs running weekly at about 8 about a hundred Net<br> so where do you say your business let's say in 5 years<br> I think will be a major player in the Paramount Plus World we don't have an agenda except you in a network statement and people I think people are tired of it it's just you know you're not wanting to judge or thinking they're better than that but come on in our entertainment we we're going to be fall of 2024<br> we have to have our first sitcom that's called of the juvies that's about a retired couple, and Grace to be who are madly in love with each other just don't ask them why and going into the empty nest more of a situation comedy so we'll be ready<br> call Mark<br> yeah but what you want to be in your favor Tom is your over. Well it seems like years experience with corporations you know such as Apple's corporate world you still need to know it's important to have those relationships and build on those relationships and that takes time sometimes it's a different world for goodness sake<br> I've discovered that<br> the will of God<br> is the most secure safe and successful place that you could ever be financially but it's not about that it's it's just that God takes him into an area that<br> utilizes the talents and abilities he's given us and also utilizes the things that he's put us Drew so we learn and so we can be at that time<br> I just know God is in control and so we just move on but he always opens the doors that no one can shut and I'll shut the door that no one can open but he's been a true partner with me throughout this whole process<br> yeah you just you just put it in his hands and that's that's your strength<br> it really does yes yes it does yeah<br> what qualities do you think every entrepreneur should possess<br> you know you going through this type of business<br> it's not an easy business<br> just for the fact that you know<br> if you want to have<br> they're allowing too much now in Social or political agenda and that's where there that's where people are going and so if you're not and you don't want to participate in that you really got to find ways if that's yourself apart but you've got to you got to keep pushing through so you know we're not<br> you know sometimes I wonder if I'm getting traction<br> and we're a member of the academy so you know we can vote and be voted for on Emmy's and<br> they sent me a thing that said Academy member with the statuette so I put that on our website<br> and I had two lawyers from Washington d.c. saying that the trademark infringement and you can't do that you know but then again I started thinking wow we're getting some traction<br> but it has some object subject objection has some obstacles you know things that's got him in his or her way and so you know what they say and keep moving forward and that's that's what separates and they didn't and I didn't<br> what routines do you follow each day and you got to understand the process you know<br> for me as a Christian it's you know what can I do to create good content how do I get in front of the sponsors but all of that is seasoned with prayer and reading the word and so I do that in the morning and so yeah I'm not some spiritual giant it's just that I want to know more about God about Jesus about the holy spirit all right that's that's a nice I just take that and say guide me throughout the day and I've trust that but you got to be knowledgeable you got to be understanding the business you got to understand you know<br> the ins-and-outs of things that was a different world now you got sometimes 25 year old people who don't have experience in certain areas making decisions on TV shows you know I heard it one time the Seinfeld was up a true but you know I heard that you've got to be surrounding yourself with good people that can help you make good decisions as well<br> yeah totally agree that I live there and you know we all have our what you call Pat P but you know that you're right and don't step away from it in the beginning God created heaven and earth<br> you've got to be able to plant you got to be able to get you got to promote you know you still have to do the work you have to do.
