Paradigm Shifters brings you HOME with Kelly Hart. WOW! Housing that is amazingly inexpensive and literally uses up stuff that you and I might have lying around. Kelly talks about earthships made of used tires, strawbale and cob homes, homes built from recycled materials of all sorts including papercrete, a kind of papier mache for building. Kelly seems to think that earthbags are the latest thing today. Polypropylene bags that once held rice or anything else, are strong enough to be filled with dirt, crushed rock, more rice - whatever - and then used to create truly beautiful and weather resistant homes. This is truly a special show that can open our minds to the tremendous range of housing options in harmony with mother earth.
