BIO:
Steve Ronnebeck is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. He spent most of his childhood moving around due to his father’s job requirements. His family finally settled in Bettendorf, Iowa. Steve graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1985 and pursued full time work. He is formerly an auto mechanic by trade.
After gaining sole custody of his son, Grant, Steve moved to Arizona where his parents lived. Soon after he met his second wife and had his youngest son, Tyler. Both boys grew up in Mesa, Arizona and attended public schools there.
On January 22, 2015, Apolinar Altamirano entered the QuikTrip gas station and convenient store where his son Grant worked at around 3:45 am and requested to buy cigarettes after dumping a jar of change on the counter. Altamirano produced a gun and Grant handed over the cigarettes. At that moment, Altamirano shot Grant point blank in the face.
Within a few months after that tragic event, Steve began his activism against illegal immigration. First, by doing local interviews and then moving on to do national media such as Fox News, Brietbart, etc. He was also contacted by Ted Cruz to endorse his campaign in 2016.
Steve continues to speak across the country on illegal immigration and is also involved in politics in the state of Arizona.
