Black History Month Part 2 - The Origin of Black Studies

Please join Internet radio host Dr. James Avington Miller Jr. for the second of a four part series for Black History Month. The series is exploring the 400 year struggle for freedom, justice, and equality affecting African Americans, and how these struggles have contributed to their current social, cultural, social-economic status in the context of a political economy within America.
This week Dr. Miller will be teaching about the origins of the student movement that changed the face and nature of higher education institutions, and gave birth to AFRICAN AND AFRICAN- AMERICAN STUDIES.
Part three on February 19 will expose the origin of racist ideology, racist political theology, white supremacy, and white racial rage.
The final show on February 26 willl focus on the rise and fall of the black middle class elite. Dr. Miller will share his own introduction and induction into this group (their children of high school and college age). when he was a senior in high school.
