Black History Month Part 1 - The Origin Story

Please join Internet radio host Dr. James Avington Miller Jr. for the first of a four part series for Black History Month. Dr Miller will begin the series with the origins of African civilization from 1619 and end with the present day. The series will explore the 400 year struggle for freedom, justice, and equality affecting African Americans, and how these struggles have contributed to their current social, cultural, social-economic status in the context of a political economy within America.



This week Dr. Miller will be teaching about 1619 and the birth of Black America - a true and unbelievable origin story.



The second show on Febuary 12 will tell the origins of the student movement that changed the face and nature of higher education institutions, and gave birth to AFRICAN AND AFRICAN- AMERICAN STUDIES.



Part three on February 19 will expose the origin of racist ideology, racist political theology, white supremacy, and white racial rage
