Ellen Goldsmith
The temperatures are rising, and with climate change our bodies are going to need to adapt to hotter summers. What we always do, changing out our clothing, putting on more sunscreen and spending more time outdoors is no longer enough. While we change over our wardrobes for the change of seasons very few of us think to change over our what foods we stock in our kitchens. Ellen Goldsmith, author, culinary medicine expert, faculty member of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, National University of Natural Medicine and nationally board certified, licensed acupuncturist, can teach your audience how they can help their bodies adjust from the inside out by eating certain foods and avoiding others during the summer months. What to eat? Guess what, it’s not Ice Cream! We need hydrating, cooling foods that don’t cause our bodies to heat up when they work to digest the food. And we need balance. Include foods such as: Avocado, celery, cucumberBanana, watermelon, berries, lemon and coconut or coconut waterRaw leafy green veggies like spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, and cabbage are all very high in water contentMint – This cooling herb contains menthol which triggers protein sensory receptors in your mouth. In essence, it’s like the coolness of ice cream without the heat raising properties. When it is hot, we need to be able to adjust our internal temperature so warm or room temperature liquids can be helpful. What you want to avoid are foods that will heat you up such as: Excess use of warming or hot spices like dried ginger, hot pepperAn excess of grilled meats – you don’t have to give up the BBQ completely, but adding some citrus to the meat helps make it easier to digest.Pickles – eating a lot of foods high in sodium can add to dehydrationLearn more in an interview with Ellen. Interview Tom Tom Paladino is a scalar energy researcher based in Florida. Scalar energy is the fundamental life force found everywhere in the world, space, and universe. It originates from the sun and stars. Chi, prana, OM, mana, life force, pyramid energy, or zero-point energy are synonymous terms for scalar energy. He theorized that all energy in the universe initiates as scalar energy; and that the sun of our solar system and the stars of the universe are the points of origin, “the storehouses,” for scalar energy. He further theorized that scalar energy is instructive energy, as the entire universe is instructed by this Divine Essence. Subsequently, all spiritual, cognitive, emotional, and physical activity in the universe is initiated and maintained by scalar energy instructions. Scalar energy provides order in the universe.

Dr. Alvin Pam
Historical Novel By Controversial Author Explores Black Panther Party & Racial Relations Through The Lens Of 1960’s- 70’s Civil Rights Movement Several generations before the Black Lives Matter movement took hold, there was a bigger, more controversial group fighting for civil rights and equality in America. A new book, When Black Panthers Prowled Amerika, offers a unique look at the Black Panthers Party through the eyes of an author who marched in the south in the 1960s under Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Though Pam’s book (that is how the author wants tobe known) is historical fiction, it features mostly real figures from a tumultuous era, and meditates on race relations that offer insights into today’s society. The book has stirred controversy because the author is not a young Black woman, but rather an older white guy. Pam is the last name of the author – not the first. “Because of accusations of cultural misappropriation, I wasn’t able to get published under my real name,” says Pam. “We live in the time of a hyper-sensitive cancel culture that many people wonder if it is racist and sexist in itself.” Pam is available to discuss in interviews the following: How history views the accomplishments of the Black Panther Party. What can be done to improve racial equality in the U.S.Why racial relations are still terse, half a century after the Black Panthers were dismantled.A new perspective on J. Edgar Hoover’s role in suppressing the Panthers. Why several publishers refused to publish Pam’s book.Who gets to tell the story of the Black Panthers.Pam, a psychotherapist by trade, writes with a unique perspective on a subject matter that is both History, Love & Relationships, Local News, World News, Psychology, Personal Development, Motivational, Pop Culture, Theory & Conspiracy
NY
Pam, who has been a psychotherapist for over half a century, is the author of three books, including the historical novel, When Black Panthers Prowled Amerika. In 1964, Pam joined a thousand college students to participate in the “Mississippi Freedom Summer,” under the aegis of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Three civil-rights workers were lynched by the Klan right at the outset of the project. Following his life-changing experience down south, Pam returned north to lead a civil rights group in Buffalo. Pam’s career as a clinical psychologist includes 34 years of service at Bronx Psychiatry Center, including a 10-year stint as the Director of Psychology Department. For the past 21 years, Pam has engaged in private practice. As an adjunct assistant professor (psychology) at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Pam also taught at several colleges and graduate schools, including Fordham and Yeshiva Universities, the New School for social Research, and was an adjunct associate professor of psychology at Bronx Community College for 24 years. A veteran of the United States Army, Pam has been an active member of the American Psychological Association, American Group Psychotherapy Association, and New York State Psychological Association. Pam’s earlier two books addressed issues in therapy and science; in addition, he has published numerous articles in professional journals such as Psychiatric Quarterly, American Journal of Psychiatry, Psychological Reports, Archives of General Psychiatry, New Ideas in Psychology, International Journal of Group Psychotherapy, American Journal of Psychotherapy, Journal of Mind and Behavior, and Professional Psychology, Research, and Practice. Pam earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Pam’s M.A. in Psychology came from New School for Social Research. He also earned another M.A., in Modern European History, from New York University, and a B.A. in History from Brooklyn College. Taking on one city at a time, Robert Craig Films production team visited the homeless in 17 cities in America to understand their challenges and ultimately create an authentic documentary and feature film that will emotionally resonate with audiences. The film, No Address, a scripted feature film that will begin production in February, will shed light on the human side of homelessness with beautiful and compelling storytelling. Robert Craig Films, a producer of award-winning purpose-driven movies, strives to effectively motivate viewers to engage deeper with compassion in the community around them and incite personal activation. Taking a deep dive into raising awareness of the homeless crisis in America, the production team toured the following 17 cities by bus including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland, New York, New Jersey, Portland, Chicago, Texas, and Washington DC, visiting rescue missions and encampments to create a documentary titled Americans With No Address, that vividly portrays America’s leading crisis and the millions of people that suffer. The team also interviewed the executive director of homeless policy for the Biden administration, the Mayor of Sacramento, the homeless director for the Newsom administration, the CEO of Citygate, several Salvation Army Majors, and directors of missions and transitional programs across America. The feature film No Address will follow from the documentary Americans With No Address, filmed on the bus tour. Casting for No Address has just begun, and the film will shoot in Sacramento. “Both the documentary Americans With No Address and the feature film No Address aren't just about getting people emotionally invested so they take action, but also bringing solutions to the table. It was incredibly important to bring world-renowned homeless expert Robert G. Marbut Jr., Ph.D. on board and his work to foster the creation of holistically transformative environments to reduce homelessness,” says Craig. Julia Verdin, No Address writer and director and Americans With No Address co-director, says, "Making the documentary and getting a sense of the world of people experiencing homelessness and their challenges was critical in fine-tuning the script. Robert Marbut’s and Philip Mangano’s input and years of experience also helped improve the script and keep it authentic.” We would love to connect you further with the production team and you’re welcome to share the full release linked here. Please also find images linked here. Thank you and we look forward to making an impact. Best, Chantelle USA
