10-9-17 – 1Peter 1:17-19 – You Are Redeemed Imperishable

If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are redeemed with imperishable seed. Adam sowed the seed of the perishable, but Jesus came so that your life might be redeemed if you accept him as Lord and Savior.

10-6-17 – 1 Peter 1:14-16 – Be Holy for I Am Holy

God calls his Church to strive for holiness. It does not mean you are perfect. Rather, it means that you are striving for perfection through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. Holiness comes with the acceptance of Jesus Christ. God sees us as perfect in his Son. Nevertheless, we are still called to actively pursue perfection in our actions and our witness to the lost world that watches how we live as Christians.

10-5-17 – 1 Peter 1:8-13 – You Are Receiving the Goal of Your Faith

The more you exercise your faith, the more faith you have. Just as you place life goals, you should place faith goals. Continue to pray for God to use you in greater ways than the day before and allow God to increase your faith.

10-4-17 – 1 Peter 1:4-7 – Trials Strengthen Your Faith

Even though you experience trials, you should rejoice in the strengthening of your faith. In order to grow, God allows trials into our lives. As the trials continue, our faith grows to be able to trust God all the more for the solution. However, if you trust in anything other than God, your faith diminishes. It is only through trust in God that you can continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

10-3-17 – 1 Peter 1:1-3 We Are Strangers

We are strangers in this world. We are fellow citizens in heaven with Jesus Christ. Our first allegiance cannot be The United States of America. Nevertheless, if we are U.S. citizens we are to obey her laws, as long as they coincide with God’s law, and submit to the leadership.

10-2-17 – Oppression Does Not Have to Be Your Choice

1 Peter 1:1-2 – Satan’s job is to oppress, but Jesus overcomes oppression. Forces in the spiritual realm are at war, but take heart; God is the victor. This is not some movie to see if evil will overcome good. God is already the victor. If you are walking with Jesus, you are on the Victor’s side. Oppression cannot touch you! Allow God to lead your life through the power of the Holy Spirit and experience the victorious life.

Grace and Peace to You.

God gives Believers grace and expects them to give the grace to others. Grace is given through the peace that God gives those who believe in Jesus Christ; the peace that passes understanding. Even though one is going through struggles, he or she can have peace in God. This is the power that Believers walk in because of their faith in a Loving Father.

I Always Thank God for You

God chose you to be saved. The reality is, he chose everyone to be saved, but not all will choose him. Therefore, it is up to you to decide to live with God throughout eternity. The alternative is an eternity away from God; an eternity in Hell.

Don’t Let Anyone Deceive You; Jesus is Coming Soon!

The man of lawlessness will be revealed. He will exalt himself over everything that is called God. But Jesus is the victor. The secret power of lawlessness is already at work, but grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
